Until now, and specially after the truck and the balloon piece, it becomes more and more clear that his Better Out Than In project is about the spectacle Banksy can create and how he manipulates the crowds (bloggers like me included). The idea is fascinating.
Like RJ Rushmore, Vandalog’s redactor, mentioned on his blog, Banksy drives out massive crowds to look at what essentially is the crappiest graffiti in New York City. If it wasn’t a Banksy of course, so also there is Banksy making a clever statement.
have a look at one of NYC worst graffiti pieces and ask yourself, would you even look at this piece if it wasn’t a Banksy? Well, probably not. Even the message is (intentionally) lame.
Ah, the piece is located on 266-270 Freeman St, Greenpoint, NY.
