“Tren, insolación y leyenda”/ “Train, isolation and legend” is Spanish artist Spidertag‘s newest (published) urban intervention made  last summer in Jerés de la Frontera, Spain.
As the artist describes it, an incredibly hot day in which he embarked on an adventure with only paint, wool, geometry and the beauty of urban decay.
On his website he describes his work simply by writing “It´s all about nails + pure wool + geometry + abstraction + streets + abandoned” and that is actually what he does, making use of nails and wool yarn, Spidertag installs geometric abstractions in beautifully lonely locations. According to him, he likes abandoned places, “just like a spider, I only build my geometrical webs in out-of the way, deserted spaces. When people are present, a spider’s web does not last.” (read the entire interview here).
