Joe Iurato and Logan Hicks just finished two days ago their collaboration for The Aqueduct Murals project described by the organizers as an “unprecedented collection of murals”. The event opened yesterday at historic Aqueduct Racetrack.
Eleven artists were invited to the event and took over the track between 8pm and 4am last week incorporating racing themes, horses and jockeys. Logan HIcks also painted the additional piece shown below, a beautiful interpretation of an old racing photo in Logan’s well known blurred stencil style.
The Aqueduct Murals, curated by Joe Iurato, counts with the participation of renowned artists like Faith47, Reka, David Flores, Chris Stain, Ad Deville, Ian Kuali’i, Marco Zedone, LNY among others.
