“Orinoko” New Mural by Fin Dac x Art Basel Miami

“Orinoko” is Fin DAC’s 3rd and last wall painted in Miami for Art Basel.
This Irish artist based in London has an incredible ability to create works, not only technically perfect but also evocative and sensual. The piece shown here is just another beautiful example of this.
The ability of this self-taught artist to create detailed motives based on a stencil of one or two layers (depending) is laudable. The details are amazing considering the busy art.
According Fin DAC, his style is a variation of the visual street art language, commonly accepted and defined as a modern variant of the nineteenth century aestheticism whose philosophy was based on the idea that art exists for the benefit of its unique beauty and it should be elevated above the moral and social issues.
