After his recent visit to Vienna, unstoppable Ever is now in Rome where he just finished this new mural for the Avanguardie Urbane project curated by 999Contemporary.
Using a blend of surrealism, spirituality and politics, Argentinian artist Ever paints murals that exhales social criticism in a flurry of bright colours, dreamy, cloud-like forms and meaningful characters. Painted in the Ostiense district and entitled “Communist metaphor”, the new mural shows the image of Chairman Mao from whose eyes a cloud of shapes and bright colours seems to emerge, just like in a steam train, and in which we can appreciate a series of red flags and hands holding instruments used in the creation of art.
