This wonderful piece of art was painted by American legend Augustine Kofie for POW! WOW! Hawaii 2014.
Active in the graffiti community since mid-nineties, Kofie’s work reflects a wide range of interests that go from architectural templates to deconstructed lettering, vintage collage paper, contemporary music and 1960’s-70′s iconography. In a constant quest for balance, composes Kofie futuristic compositions in wonderful vintage pastel-toned palettes, creating in this way “organically complex formations through meticulously structured line-work and layering”. This beautiful new mural is no exception.
There just one detail in this composition that doesn’t belong to Kofie and that’s some calligraphic elements  added by Defer after the complexion of this mural. They really work nice together!
