Nelio-Santiago-Chile-1

After a long stay in Argentina, Nelio has finally arrived in Chile where he already managed to paint a couple of pieces in the outskirts of Santiago, Chile’s capital.
As we mentioned earlier, Nelio’s imagery is both graffiti-rooted, aware of art history and influenced by graphic design, architecture and childhood memories, as well as primitive art and ancient alphabets and symbols.
The new murals are a clear example of that and I particularly enjoy the way Nelio incorporates small elements and colour palette from the surrounding landscape into the composition (image above). Lovely work.
