Another artist participating of this years Mirafau Festival in Lima, Peru is El Decertor an artist who defines himself as ‘a painter of bad weather and memory builder’.
This is reflected in this new mural where we are confronted to El Decertor’s traditional imagery which incorporates his graphic work into social subjects, reinterpreting la pre-hispanic iconography in his particular visual language.
His inspiration is often drawn from the social and/or architectonic context he choses to paint his murals, always looking for a direct confrontation with the viewer.
