Belgian sensation and always super popular ROA is now in Latvia participation of the Blank Canvas festival for which he painted one of his adorable creatures, a pretty good executed hedgehog.
As usual he discovers his animal subjects within each painting’s location. He explains it simply: “When I travel, I try to paint the local species. So I’m always interested in the little scavengers and rodents and crazy animals that live with the people in the city, animals that are survivors.” Well, just like this little friend here.
