The art and design collective Graphic Surgery is back in the streets with this new abstract mural painted somewhere in Reims, France.
As mentioned earlier they work different medium and everything from design, video and public murals to installation, (among other things) but what stays the same in their practise is the paired back visual language deployed and the predominantly black and white non colour scheme that has become their trademark.
According to Graphic Surgery their imagery “owes as much to the urban environment that surrounds them as they do to the history of modern art and design. De Stijl and Constructivism being clear reference points.” being this new mural a good example of this.
