Here an interesting mural by Italian artist Nemo’s painted for this years Oltre Il Muro festival in Sapri, Italy.
This is not the first time Nemo paints in Sapri, he was also part of the festival last year, actually the first time I saw some of his work.
NemO’S characters are always interesting and often to be found in unexpected locations. This piece was made of newspapers and acrylics which adds a gritty texture to the central character and overall concept. Often this skin of newspapers, as the elements take their toll on the newspapers, reveals a skeleton. Not sure if this will be the case, but we will see in a few weeks.

The skin of the body in the middle is made with a recycled Italian news paper “Il Sole 24 Ore”.
The two men in the corner are painted with acrylic colors.

The main character here is being pulled apart by to men in suits whose pockets are filled with gold, the rich stealing from the poor?
A pretty nice and interesting piece.
