Last Thursday, 4th of September, opened Claudia Walde also known as MadC her new solo show “Reflections” at Kolly Gallery in Zurich, Switzerland.
MadC put for this occasion more than a year of work into this show and in addition to several new pieces on canvas she created pretty cool Kaleidoscopes made of spraycans which she has never shown before.

The new body of work is characteristic of her latest style, mainly letter based; energetic legible letters where everything seems connected – background and foreground and where the use of bright colours, sharp lines, transparencies and shading.  Images where the fore- and background have been flattened out and forged together with the middle ground as if the painting was painted on superimposed layers of thin glass.

The show is on until 4th of October at Kolly Gallery located on Seefeldstrasse 56, 8008 Zürich, Switzerland.
