After a wonderful participation at this years Nuart Festival in Stavanger, Norway, Borondo is now in Portugal where he just finished this lovely intervention as part of his artist residency for ARTURb (Artistas Unidos em Residência) in Lagos.
ARTURb is a unique project involving leading figures in the street art scene and counts this year with the participation of both national and international artists like Borondo, Dome, Mário Belém, Pipsqueak and Sepe.
During the residency the artists are free to create their work both inside and outside aroundthe city of Lagos which is available to any intervention, adaptation or artistic creation.First out isBorondo with this lovely and somehow nostalgic image where the portrayed man becomes one with the nature surrounding him.
The residency will end in a group exhibition opening on Sept 20. The exhibition will be open until Oct 31 at LAC – Laboratório de Actividades Criativas (old city of Lagos)
