Escif is back in the streets of Valencia with two street pieces that reflect not only his sense of humour, but also his social consciousness, two things I appreciate in any other human being.
The first of them “Reportar conducta en Facebook” (Report of posts on Facebook) has to do with censorship in social media platforms like Facebook (or Instagram) where monitoring others life and reporting what we apparently don’t like is becoming meaningless and even affecting the diffusion of art.
The second piece, titled “Recortes” (Cuts), refers to the current situation in Spain where austerity cuts will be soon be implemented affecting (again) both the health sector, education and social services. If you read Spanish here an article in El País.
