California-based artist and designer Mark Paul Deren aka Madsteez is now in Spain adding some colour to this years Open Walls festival in Barcelona.
Known for his vivid, large-scale, multi-layered paintings, where strange and familiar figures are integrated into abstract landscapes, creates Madsteez a unique mural charged with that energy that characterizes the rest of his work.

Madsteez is also the happy owner of a couple of dachshund dogs which served as inspiration for this new mural titled ‘Mi WEENperro es tu WEENperro’ or ‘My WEENdog, is your WEENdog’  featuring the image of, well, three dogs wearing Spanish period costumes. If you want to know more about his dogs just google the hashtag ‘weenseuss’.

Funny, colourful, entertaining and certainly easy to spot the new mural is located on via Favència, 161, Barcelona.
