Russian artist and designer Anatoliy Akue also know as just Akue1 completed a few days ago this beautiful mural painted for the Street Art Museum project in St. Petersburg.
“Retreat” features an urban scene during a rainy day. The image is divided in two sections, one realistically painted featuring a woman as she enters what it seems to be her home and a colourful and deconstructed scene in the foreground that expresses the vitality of urban life. “Retreat” speaks maybe about the need we all have to be alone sometimes, isolating ourselves from the outside world in order to restore our inner peace.
