French artist L’Atlas is currently in Rome in occasion of the opening of Transversal, his new solo show at Wunderkammern Gallery.

He started learning Latin calligraphy at first in 1996 and afterwards he continued with Arabic calligraphy in Morocco, Cairo and Syria during 3 years, between 1998 and 2000. This was the beginning of his art and when the time when he started experimenting with his ideograms, trying to find a balance between the letters and the form.
