Featuring 2501, 2Alas, Alexis Diaz, Elian, Pastel, Jufe, Ever Siempre and Franco Fasoli Jaz Los Fordistas kicked off last Tuesday Friends and Family II as the culmination of a yearlong art residency, an idea born last year during Miami Art Week 2013.
The title for this exhibition, Friends and Family, makes reference to the close relationship between these ten artists who began as colleagues and collaborators frequently crossing paths through international street art circles and beyond, but that at the same time forged strong bonds and establishing a real and sincere friendship, they are after all a big family.
The show, by this mostly international crew, showcases in many ways how the city influenced their creativity and artistic relationships.
Unfortunately the show closes today! so be quick and head to the gallery for a great experience.
