JADE is back in the streets of Lima, Peru with this new mural painted in the Chorrillos neighbourhood.
Titled ‘Elsueño’ (The Dream), the new mural shows the image of a boy sleeping. On the boy’s side we appreciate the image of a ceramic bull also known as Torito dePucara. This kind of traditional Peruvian imagery is usually placed on roofs for good luck, fertility (of crops and livestock) and to bring prosperity.A bouquet of flowers seems to cover the boy’s head whilst the phantasmagoric image of the head of a bird seems to float on the right lower corner of the mural. A surreal dreamy landscape for sure…
