1_Giorgio Bartocci- Altrove Festival_photo by Angelo Jaroszuk BogaszThis new and interesting mural is the work of Italian artist Giorgio Bartocci who is in town for the second edition of the ALTrove Street Art Festival in Catanzaro, Italy.
“Madre Nostra” /Our Mother as the new wall was titled, is the second piece created for the festival in the outskirts of Aranceto and represents the artist’s own interpretation of this year’s festival concept sailing under the title Abstractism – space>place and that intends to explore the possibilities to wonder about the concept of urban area by means of abstraction.
Bartocci’s mural is an homage to Mother Earth and to human beings in general as instruments and vehicle of energy and life expressed through a fluid and harmonious composition that makes us wonder through this urban canvas in search for its meaning and beauty. Nice work.
