Invited by Galerie Itinerrance, German artist 1010, known for his magnificent 3D trompe l’oeil painted this amazing 4500 m2 piece taking advantage of the remodeling of the interchange of the 13th arrondissement in Paris in partnership with SEMAPA .
In less than a week, 4,500 m2 of asphalt were covered by 400 liters of paint creating the illusion of a huge and colourful crater, concentric shapes that lead deeper and deeper into the ground and seem to swallow the ground and the traffic.
