tellas- ciredz - wall 1 nossa senhora da gloria 1 Here a new and beautiful mural by Italian artists Tellas and Roberto Ciredz who were until recently in Brazil invited by Marni to take part of a very special residency project called A grande terra do sertao / The great land of hinterland.
During the artistic residency Tellas and Ciredz travelled to Nossa Senhora da Gloria, a small town in the north-east of Brazil and the home of Veio, a local artist working on sculpture. While  working on a series of murals and installations of their own, Tellas and Roberto also followed and documented Veio’s work which in some way seems to have inspired the artists during their stay.
One of the pieces created during this time is Stagione secca / Stagione delle piogge / Dry Season / Rainy Season painted in one of Nossa Senhora da Gloria’s busiest arteries and that combines Tellas poetic minimalism and close study of nature, and Ciredz wavy line work characterized by a study of canonical forms accompanied by soft tonal choices. A beautiful and conceptual expression of the artists perception. The video below is part of the documenting process of Veio’s, Tellas and Ciredz’ work.
