Spanish artist and illustrator Daniel Muñoz aka SAN was recently in Scotland where he painted this haunting mural installation titled 983 Followers.
Painted somewhere in Scottish Highlands the mural covers three of four walls of an abandoned building and portrays the images of a large number of men (983?) gathered along the wall in such way that they give the impression to be waiting for us, the viewer, to speak. A comment to today’s expectations when it comes to social media? Unfortunately I can only speculate about the meaning of this mural, but one thing is sure, it certainly touched a nerve in me.
