“Tiempo” (Time) is Axel Void‘s latest street piece painted for this year’s Artesano Project organized in the city of Nagua in the Dominican Republic.
The mural, part of Axel Void mediocre series, is based on a photo the artist took of Gladys and her granddaughter Rosibel at the entrance of their house. The delicate depiction of the two figures, showing Gladys holding Rosibel in her arms, also seems to be a conceptual representation of the passing of time expressed through the generational difference between the grandmother and her granddaughter.
