plasticmurs-opening-1The Lápiz, Papel o Tijera group show at the Valencian gallery Plasticmurs opened its doors a few days ago bringing together a selection of graphite drawings by 30 local and international artists “not intending to be a preparatory drawing of an objective but a means itself, lightweight and versatile, allowing forms of expression and shades as diverse as grey tones on paper”.
The work presented is certainly diverse, ranging from the hyperrealism of Linnea Strid to the quirky surrealism of Enric Sant. In Lápiz, Papel o Tijera we meet mysterious characters where myth and superstition meet, one example is the work of Vero Navarro and Sara Sanz product of a seductive duality between the divine and the demonic, but also the sensual innocence of the work of Simona Candini, just to mention a few.
