Italian street artist and illustrator Agostino Iacurci just finished this large mural at the Gonvin Puri Metro Station in Delhi as part of the always great St+Art India festival.
Not unlike the rest of his work, the new mural features Agostino Iacurci’s characteristic imagery, a visual vocabulary able to condense stories open to various levels of reading. Making use of an illustrative stroke, bright tones and flat, coloured backgrounds, his murals adapt to the contour’s of a building transforming it into a storybook. His characters seem suspended in time making us rediscover their narrative power and the urban context in which they were created.
