The infamous trio CANEMORTO was recently invited by Section 80 to spend some time working at their exhibition space where the artists, after three weeks of intense work, managed to give shape to an interesting exhibition producing a series of new artworks ranging from paintings to sculptures and videos.

According to CANEMORTO the exhibition, titled TOYS,  represents some sort of sequel to their recently released movie “Amo-Te Lisboa” (here) that documents the adventures of its three main characters and the more than 50 unauthorized wall paintings they created in the streets of the Portuguese capital during the course of two months. Now, back to Italy, they decide to leave the streets and undertake ‘an implausible career’ in the contemporary art world.
What can I say. Simply amazing plot that speaks about what everybody thinks, but no one dares to say loud, and CANEMORTO does it in such a subtle way. Thumbs up!

TOYS opens today February 26th at Superfuo gallery located on via Carlo Farini 35, 20159 Milan, Italy.
