AEC, from the popular duo Interesni Kazki is now in Mexico where he recently finished this new mural made possible thanks to the support of the Zentik project in the city of Valladolid.
The new mural, titled Petrified science shows the image of an archeologist leaning and extending his left had in order to receive a blue bottle with a man inside being handed to him by mother earth whilst his legs start to become part of the ground he is standing on.
According to AEC the title of the mural refers to “modern natural science and archeological knowledges which are focused only on discovering of material world, divided from spiritual and mystical part of it, which are all parts of the whole thing which is Universe. That why modern knowledges about nature are retarded and kind of petrified compare to more perfect knowledges about Universe of the future generations and probably generations of the past, when there was no ‘technical progress'”
As usual  a surreal piece rich in meaning and mysticism that offers different levels of reading.
