Italian artist Luca Ledda just sent over a few images of his latest mural, this time in Palermo for the TMO or Teatro Mediterraneo Occupato.
The TMO is an independent space committed to the redevelopment of a wing of the former “Fiera del mediterraneo” that despite not receiving any kind of financial support, has managed to transform a derelict place into a cultural centre with a theatre, an art gallery, a silkscreening studio and a series of workshops.
The new mural is in many ways a tribute to the TMO whose main goal has always been to make art accessible to everyone moved by a strong desire to grow and giving shape to a solid organisation. It is precisely its strong “roots” and the symbolism behind it that inspired Ledda to realise this project.
