I just got a few images of Barlo‘s newest mural in New York curated by TAG Public Arts Project and painted in the heart of the Bronx.
Titled “Feathers of NY”, the new piece refers to the fact that there are over 300 species of birds in NY, divided into native birds, birds introduced by the government and migrant birds. Their feathers are symbol of their identity, their origin, the result of evolution and adaptation to a specific environment. Feathers are also what they leave behind, as ephemeral trace of their passage, enriching the ever-growing organic pattern of the city. The same can be said of the development of our cities and societies in general, enriched not impoverished by diversity. Beautiful piece.

If you happen to be around the Bronx you can find it on 1401 Ferris Place, BX NY 10462
