If I am not wrong this will be my first post about Gue, an Italian artist that has been making waves in the Italian street art scene during the last couple of years.
Being part of the scene since 2003, Gue’s style has developed from incorporating abstract figurative motifs to fully abstract. His work is characterised by a lightness of form and delicacy of colour gradations and transparencies that give shape to what the artist calls “a flexible space”, opening a dialogue with the surrounding architecture and landscape. This is the case of ‘Vento d’estate’, a wonderful mural painted for the always great ALTrove Festival in Catanzaro, Italy that has already become one of the highlights of this year’s festival.
