“Altonale” is an amazing installation recently created by the German artist duo Quintessenz for this year’s STAMP Festival in Hamburg.

The duo, composed of Thomas Granseuer and Tomislav Topic, is known for creations that play with the perception of space, colours and the relationships between objects, constantly evolving through the materials they use and focusing on the “processual” of the work.

For the occasion they created a wonderful site-specific installation in a previously unused space between two buildings. The installation consists in a series of shaped semi transparent colour panels displayed in a way that resembles a rainbow of beautiful earth colours going from cold turquoise to light yellow. The work is certainly a stunning sight and can be visited at Hospitalstr. 3-5 in Hamburg.
