NITRO SPICE II

Part of the graffiti scene since the mid 90’s, Polish architect, designer and street artist Nawer Areibach has developed through the years a fresh, distinctive creative style that, according to himself, strives forward in an effort to connect painting with architecture.

Titled ‘Change Perspective’, his newest solo show at Punto618 Art Gallery in Turin will present a new body of work inspired by the artist’s formal education and music as an expression of sound triggering emotion where basic architectural elements such as volume, mass, color, space and rhythm become alive through superimposed geometric planes, shifting axes and multiple perspectives.

The artist’s carefully selected color palettes are activated by bright or fluorescent colors that pulse back and forth like intersecting beams of light, that helped by Nawer’s passage technique of creating evanescent layers, reinforce the perception of dynamic movement, inviting the viewer to continuously wonder through the surface of the canvas.

‘Change Perspective’ opens on Sunday, September 18th at 6 pm at the gallery located on Via Cesare Battisti 2, 10078, Venaria Reale, Turin. The exhibition will be open to the public through October 23rd.
