Italian urban artist and street art poet Opiemme is back with this new mural recently created in the locality of Follonica in Grosseto, Italy.

Since the beginning, Opiemme’s goal has been to bring poetry closer to people, to the streets where they fully visible picture words that can be read and images admired, always looking for new ways to present and explore poetry.
Titled “Heart shaped box” the new mural is an evocative tribute to Nirvana and Kurt Cobain’s song from which Opiemme extracted the following verses:

“She eyes me like a Pisces when I am weak
I’ve been locked inside your heart-shaped box for weeks
I’ve been drawn into your magnet tar-pit trap
I wish I could eat your cancer when you turn black […]”

Amazing song by the way…
