Here a few images of ‘Cerchio G025’, Italian artist Giulio Vesprini‘s latest wall painted in Ravenna, Italy for the Cantiere Bellezza, a project commissioned by the City of Cervia,a small seaside town close to Ravenna and Rimini, that aims to redevelop the area through art.
A proposal was presented and a few street artists were invited to decorate targeted buildings in the area. two of these are Condominio Solidale Pantera Rosa and Emporio Solidale di Cervia, that provide social housing to low income families.
Among the artists invited to take part of this project we find Giulio Vesprini, Aris and GUE, who managed, not only to create three beautiful murals, but also make the local community become involved in the project, as a proof of the power of art in our daily lives.

With a background in architecture and graphic design, Vesprini’s work successfully merges both worlds giving shape to what he calls ‘Archigrafia’. His work is often composed by two main elements: geometry and abstract shapes, often with botanical elements or references to nature.
According to Vesprini [his] research focuses on several fronts including land art and urban culture. I prefer simple lines similar to my graphic and architectural origins. I draw primitive design by graphic signs, illustrations and urban actions. My works are born from minimal culture where the shape represents the main idea. I think that my freehand drawing symbolises abstract expressionism where I often feel to reach a perfect work…]
