Spanish artist Pedro A. Prados Ortiz, also known as Freskales, painted recently this new mural titled ‘El Jornalero’ (The Worker) in the district of Benimaclet in Valencia, Spain as part of the Benimaclet ConFusión festival, a non-profit event that provides freedom of artistic expression and aims to give voice to the artistic soul of this district.
The mural depicts a labourer, a man who works the fields. Part man, part dog, he holds one of those tools to plough the land (sorry, city girl here) over his left shoulder and soil in the palm of his right hand while he looks at the viewer. Someone proud of what he does.
