As announced a couple of weeks ago, opened Spanish artist Mario Cosin “Vacui” a new solo show at PlasticMurs gallery last week unveiling a beautiful body of work that interprets the artist’s vision of humanity.

The exhibition consists of 9  paintings in spray and acrylic on PVC board using a grey colour palette and 12 watercolours that are worth the visit alone.
Titled Vacui (Latin for empty)  Mario Cosin’s work is totally the opposite consisting on overfilled surfaces where no free space is to be found, and where human-like figures drown in a landscape of abstract shapes and details that juxtapose each other. Clean lines and forms abound, at the same time that the narrative aspect emerges.

Vacui runs through March 10th at the gallery located in Called Denia 49, Valencia, Spain.
