On Friday March 17th, Sober Collective‘s gallery in Rotterdam will be opening the ‘Sober Street Art Exhibition’, a show that intends to create a bigger platform for Street Art in Rotterdam.

Alongside the exhibition, the Sober Collective is also organising Sober Walls, an event that will count on the participation of renowned international artists like Sebas Velasco (Spain) who will be collaborating on a wall with the Dutch duo Telmo Miel, Vesod (Italy) and Bier & Brood (Netherlands) who will be painting in the ‘Oude Noorden’(Old North) area. They will be joined by the winner of the Sober Talent Contest. The winner of the contest will be selected through an open call to local talents. The idea, is not only offer a platform for Street Art, but also connect people from the ‘Het Oude Noorden’ in Rotterdam by involving them in the project.

The ‘Sober Street Art Exhibition’ opens on from March 17th and will run through April 28th 2017 at the gallery located at Zaagmolendrift 53, Rotterdam.
The murals created during Sober Walls will be visible for at least one year on the walls in ‘Het Oude Noorden’ in Rotterdam.
Sober Collective is a generic term for multiple companies of the brand Sober. These companies are active in advertisement, art and interior design. With TelmoMiel and Tim Boin Art Sober Collective is complete. Street Art is an easy accessible form of art, which makes it easier to enter the gallery of Sober Collective for the average visitor. TelmoMiel belongs to the top of best Street Artist in the world and in April 2016 they won the price for best Street Artist of the Netherlands in Amsterdam. The goal of Sober Collective is to bring the best Street Artists to Rotterdam and make sure that Rotterdam will have great murals.
