The Dutch duo Telmo Miel is currently in Australia were they recently finished this new and cute mural for the Wonderwalls festival in beautiful Port Adelaide, Australia.

The candy coloured mural depicts a little kid wearing a shiny kitchen pot on his head and a red cape, while he physically tries to stop a truck from running over a koala. But the truck, half toy, half real, stands still, there is no driver and therefore no one is responsible for it.

The wall is according to the artists, inspired by the many roadkills happening everyday around the world, but specially in this area. With his polished helmet and red cape, the little superhero is trying to save a life, hence the title of the mural: ‘Knight in shining Amor’ what do you think?

TELMO MIEL
The Rotterdam-based Dutch duo TelmoMiel, composed of the artists Telmo Pieper and Miel Krutzmann, define themselves as muralists and creators of contemporary art.
In 20017 Telmo, a licensed illustrator and designer, met Miel, who was already active in the graffiti scene, but it wasn’t until 2012 that they started collaborating, after both had completed the their degrees at the Academy of Art.
The two artists work with a photo-realistic style that focuses on contrasts. They work ideas separately, later combining both sketches and giving shape to surrealistic compositions with great attention to detail. They are also so into each others work that when working on a piece together, they are able to switch places when ever wanted or needed.
