American artist Cleon Peterson just released a couple of prints entitled “Will To Power” and “Hysteria” in collaboration with The Outsiders gallery in London.
“Will To Power” is a one-colour screen print on Somerset Tub Sized Satin 410gsm paper with deckled edges, measures 100cm x 71.5cm and comes in an edition of 50. Signed and numbered by the artist. Available HERE for £175 each
“Hysteria” is also a one-colour screen print on Somerset Tub Sized Satin 410gsm paper with deckled edges, but this time measures 62cm x 62cm. Edition of 50. Signed and numbered by the artist. Available HERE for £125 each.
Even if Cleon Peterson’s work seems violent it isn’t necessarily “gross-out art”. The atrocity in his work is not a graphic one, there is no blood og intestines flying away, but rather a greek vasepainting depiction of war and violence.
